The Scott Cao 1500 is crafted in Scott Cao’s workshop in Campbell, California. The Campbell workshop is staffed by a team of ten award-winning luthiers under the direct supervision of Scott Cao. Each violin is handmade with the highest quality Bosnian maple and Italian spruce that is aged 10 years. They feature Indian ebony fingerboard and boxwood fittings. The finish of these instruments are exact copies of famous Italian violins. The beautiful oil varnish used follows the traditional methods perfected by the Italian master makers of centuries past.
