The RESONANCE Model 209 Viola is our entry level instrument and an exceptional value student instrument. Hand-crafted in China, the 209 is professionally set up and adjusted at our Pittsburgh workshop by our expert luthiers. It features a slightly flamed maple back, ribs and scroll and a solid spruce top with inlaid purfling. The violin is finished with genuine ebony fingerboard and fittings, a custom-fitted bridge and D'Addario Prelude String. This instrument is easy to play and has a forgiving, resonant tone quality perfect for the beginning Violist. It is available for purchase and rental in 13", 14", 15", 15.5", 16" and 16.5" sizes.
